If you aren't charmed by "hand-work" (tennis, badminton, volley-ball and table tennis), "leg-work" (bikes, mountain-bikes from the Vélo Loisir En Luberon group : The "Le Luberon en Vélo" marked itinerary 500m from Charembeau) or "water-work" (from April to October in the heated swimming pool), you can enjoy the few "gentle" kilometres of country track that leads to Forcalquier. You can even be accompanied by a Regional Guide who will expertly show you the landscapes and wildlife along your walk.

The pays de Forcalquier will encourage you to go on light-filled escapades through the gorges d'Oppedette, to the Priories of Salagon and Ganagobie, to the perched villages dotted along the little roads lined with lavender or olive trees. When night falls, you can fill your head with stars and comets in the famous astronomy observation site of Saint Michel... l'Observatoire.

Forcalquier with an illustrious historical and cultural past, also shares its present with many festivals and fairs from March to October and every Monday with the colourful sights and enticing smells of its big market.

This land of flavours will offer the tastes of the three products which have given it its gastronomic identity for centuries: olive oil, flavoured cocktails and Banon goat's cheese generously enhanced in the region's Bistrots de Pays.

... and to make sure that this anthology of recreational activities is concentrated in the Pays de Forcalquier and Lure mountain, jump into the basket of France Montgolfières's hot-air balloons and enjoy the rare experience of contemplating the sun rising over Haute Provence.
